Job summary

Ardena is seeking a Data & BI Engineer to own our Microsoft Fabric data platform and reporting landscape. You’ll ensure reliable data processing, maintain transformed datasets, and work with global stakeholders to turn questions into trusted data and actionable dashboards.

You will develop new data connections, validate data across sources, and keep clear documentation. Strong Fabric/Azure experience and Power BI skills are essential for this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or higher in data/analytics/CS or related field.
• 3+ years in data, BI or analytics engineering.
• Hands-on Fabric experience or strong Azure/Synapse with Fabric exposure.
• Strong Power BI: modelling, DAX, Power Query/M, visuals.
• Strong SQL and relational data understanding.
• Experience maintaining data pipelines and scheduled reporting.
• Excellent communication to explain technical topics to non-tech.
• Professional English; Dutch or Spanish is a plus for local stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Own Fabric data platform and ensure reliable data processing and reporting.
• Monitor pipelines, transformations, semantic models and refreshes; fix failures and data-quality issues.
• Update business logic as rules or sources change.
• Develop new transformations, datasets and data connections.
• Validate data across sources, Fabric, and downstream reporting.
• Document platform components, rules, data lineage and processes.
• Own and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards.
• Address report errors, performance issues and user questions.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into data/reporting changes.
