Job summary

Ireckonu is looking for a Data & BI Consultant to support our Data team by developing, maintaining, and presenting our Data Products while working directly with clients to understand their reporting needs and translate them into valuable data solutions. The Data Team collaborates closely with Development and Commercial teams to fulfill customer needs.

You will work with Data Scientists, Project Managers, Product, and clients to gather feedback and continuously improve reporting products,

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of professional experience working with data and analytics.
• At least 2 years of hands-on PowerBI experience.
• Experience working directly with clients in a client-facing role.
• Experience translating business or client requirements into practical reporting solutions.
• Strong SQL skills and experience working with databases and data.
• Strong communication and consulting skills.
• A product mindset to improve reporting products.
• Comfortable working with multiple stakeholders in a client-facing environment.
• Hands-on Python experience is a plus.
• Microsoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst Associate is a strong plus.

• Filter and clean data by reviewing standardized reports and indicators to locate issues.
• Identify and define opportunities to improve existing processes, reports, and Data Products.

Your mission

We are looking for a Data & BI Consultant to support our Data team. You will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and presenting our Data Products, while working directly with clients to understand their reporting needs and translate them into valuable data solutions. The Data Team is working closely with the Development and Commercial teams to fulfil customer needs.

In this role, you will align with clients regularly to gather feedback on existing reports, understand their business requirements, and identify opportunities to improve our reporting products. This means you will not only work with data, but also think from a product perspective about how our Data Products can better support our clients.

To succeed in this role, you will collaborate with Data Scientists, Project Managers, Product, Commercial, and clients. You will tackle dynamic and challenging tasks daily, as the Data team is involved in almost every vertical within the company.

You Will

About You

• At least 3 years of relevant professional experience working with data and analytics.
• At least 2 years of hands-on professional experience with PowerBI.
• Experience working directly with clients is essential, as this role is a client-facing role.
• Experience translating business or client requirements into practical reporting or data solutions.
• Strong SQL skills and experience working with databases and data.
• Strong communication and consulting skills, with the ability to understand different business needs and communicate data-related topics clearly.
• A product mindset and the ability to look beyond individual reporting requests to understand how reporting products can be improved.
• Comfortable working with different stakeholders and taking initiative in a client-facing environment.
• Hands-on experience with Python is nice to have.
• Microsoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst Associate certification is a strong plus.
