Job summary

043 Damen Global Support B.V. in the Netherlands seeks a seasoned Data Architect to design and govern the data landscape, translating business needs into scalable, future-proof data solutions. You will guide teams, work with Data Owners and Engineers, and apply DAMA-DMBOK and TOGAF in pragmatic, value-driven ways.

You’ll drive data maturity across platforms such as SAP, Workday, Salesforce and Azure, maintaining a hands-on role while aligning with business strategy and technology choices.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in Data Architecture or similar roles.
• Proven track record in designing and implementing data solutions.
• Affinity with manufacturing / industrial environments is a strong plus.
• Knowledge of DAMA‑DMBOK and TOGAF; hands-on data architecture delivery.

Responsibilities

• Design, Realize and Govern the Data Management Architecture.
• Develop and realise Damen’s data management architecture and data platform vision.
• Create and maintain conceptual, logical and physical data models.
• Translate architectural direction into actionable designs and support implementations.
• Collaborate with Data Engineers, Analysts and Enterprise Architects.
