Job summary

Fugro-Geoteam AS is offering an Analytics & Data Science Intern position to join the Global Data & Insights team. You will gain hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric, Databricks, Python, SQL, and Data Agents while contributing to real business challenges and AI-driven analytics.

You will develop forecasting and machine learning skills, build clear visualizations, and communicate insights to stakeholders.

Qualifications

Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's in Data Science, Computer Science, AI, Statistics, Business Analytics or related field.
Basic to intermediate knowledge of SQL and Python for data analysis.
Understand database principles, data modeling, and fundamentals of machine learning.
Familiar with Power BI or other BI and data visualization tools.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; able to work with complex datasets.

Responsibilities

Analyze business and operational data to identify patterns and opportunities.
Develop and test statistical and forecasting models to support decision-making and KPI tracking.
Perform exploratory data analysis and translate findings into actionable insights.
Build, evaluate and improve ML models using classification, regression, clustering.
Explore use cases with Microsoft Fabric Data Agents and AI-powered technologies.
Design conversational experiences for interacting with business data.
Create impactful visualizations and presentations for stakeholders.
