Philips Avent Experience Innovation is offering a Data, AI & Algorithm Internship in the Eindhoven area. Start date flexible in 2026, duration at least 6 months, with a weekly presence of 40h (min 32h).

Location includes Eindhoven area or Shenzhen, with guidance from the Eindhoven team. You will work under the Data, AI & Algorithm Lead, collaborating with engineers, designers and proposition leads across Eindhoven, Amsterdam and Shenzhen.

Qualifications

• Current student in Data Science, AI, Computer Science, or related technical discipline.
• Strong Python skills and data analysis experience.
• Ability to translate messy real-world data into insights and product concepts.
• Interest in end-to-end data-to-product development and AI tooling.

Responsibilities

• Explore SenseIQ and connected product data to identify patterns and features.
• Translate consumer needs into measurable signals, data requirements, and algorithms.
• Build and iterate data analysis pipelines and prototypes in Python.
• Define what “good” looks like for product function, reliability, and user relevance.
• Validate early algorithm concepts under real-world variability.
• Communicate insights through structured analyses, visualizations, and recommendations.
• Contribute to faster experimentation with automation and data workflows.
