Job summary

CS GROUP, together with HE Space and Sopra Steria, is seeking an experienced Cyber Security Operations Engineer to support the Galileo project for EUSPA. You will oversee the secure platform status, patching, and configuration updates across unclassified and classified networks in Noordwijk, Netherlands.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and at least eight years’ experience in Linux-based security, network/security operations, and accreditation activities, with English

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• At least eight years of experience in Linux-based security systems development, network/security operations, cyber security operator, and accreditation activities.
• Fluency in English is mandatory.
• Knowledge of another European language is an advantage.

Job Description

As a member of a team providing services to EUSPA for the Galileo global satellite navigation system, you will have the following responsibilities:

• The secure status of the platform including the patching and configuration update of all the HW elements in the system (unclassified and classified network).
• The cyber security operations management activities, ensuring the cyber security requirements are fulfilled (unclassified and classified network).

Qualifications

You will have the following qualifications and relevant experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• At least eight years of experience in all of the following areas:
  • Linux-based security systems development.
  • Operational experience as a Network/Security Operations Engineer.
  • Applicable experience as a Cyber Security Operator.
  • Experience in accreditation-related activities.
• Fluency in English is mandatory.
• Knowledge of another European language is an advantage.
