Job summary

SoftwareOne is seeking a Cyber Security Analyst to help build the new Dutch Security Operations Centre in Amsterdam. You will be among the first local SOC members, coordinating with the Warsaw SOC, shaping local processes, and driving best practices while supporting growth.

Qualifications

• Experience in a Security Operations Centre (SOC) or similar security environment.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Security technologies, security monitoring tools, or SIEM platforms.
• Understanding of cyber threat detection, incident investigation, and response practices.
• Ability to communicate in Dutch and English with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Investigate and respond to security alerts, incidents, and cyber threats affecting customer environments.
• Monitor and analyze security events using Microsoft Security technologies and security monitoring platforms.
• Support threat detection, incident response, and security improvement activities.
• Work closely with customers, providing guidance and updates during security investigations.
• Contribute to SOC processes, operational procedures, and continuous service improvements.
• Collaborate with colleagues across the European cybersecurity team and support the growth of the Dutch SOC capability.

Job Requirements

• Experience working in a Security Operations Centre (SOC), cybersecurity operations, or a similar security-focused environment.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Security technologies, security monitoring tools, or SIEM platforms.
• Understanding of cyber threat detection, incident investigation, and response practices.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a structured approach to investigations.
• Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders in Dutch and English.
• Motivation to contribute to a growing team and help build a new security capability.
