Job summary

Haskoning is seeking an Information Security Incident Coordinator in the Netherlands to lead end-to-end incident response across security, IT, suppliers and business stakeholders. You will ensure structured handling, clear ownership, and effective communication during crises.

You will join the Digital & Workplace Solutions (DWS) team, contributing to cyber resilience, incident readiness, and continuous improvement through playbooks, post-incident reviews, and cross-functional collaboration

Qualifications

• Experience in incident response, security operations or SOC.
• Calm, structured and effective under pressure.
• Excellent Dutch and English communication, written and verbal.
• Completed education in cyber security, IT, digital forensics or related field.
• Certifications such as GCIH, SC-200, GCIA or CISSP preferred.
• Understanding of incident handling, escalation and post-incident reviews.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate end-to-end response to security incidents across security, IT, suppliers and stakeholders.
• Ensure ownership, escalation, communication, documentation and decision-making during incidents.
• Align incident response with business continuity and crisis management processes.
• Improve detection and response procedures with updated playbooks and readiness measures.
• Drive post-incident reviews, lessons learned and follow-up actions.
• Report on incident trends, root causes and response effectiveness.
• Support testing and exercising of incident scenarios.
• Work with managed detection, IT operations and external providers to improve resilience.
