Job summary

Nissui Europe B.V. is seeking a Sustainability Data Specialist to coordinate data collection across subsidiaries, validating data quality and supporting CSRD disclosures for the FY2027 reporting cycle. You will work with colleagues across Europe to ensure accurate, audit-ready data and clear documentation.

You will build CSRD reporting capabilities, maintain data in our ESG platform, and liaise with site and finance teams. Fluency in English and a proactive mindset are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in sustainability, environmental science, energy, engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 2–5 years of work experience in sustainability, energy or ESG reporting.
• Hands-on experience with carbon accounting (GHG Protocol) and/or energy data.
• Working knowledge of CSRD/ESRS and EU sustainability regulation.
• Strong Excel and data skills, attention to detail and a structured way of working.
• Ability to produce clear, well-structured documentation and presentations in Word and PowerPoint.
• Fluent English and ability to explain complex topics to different audiences.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate sustainability data collection across subsidiaries (energy, fuel, waste, packaging, HR and ESRS datapoints).
• Validate data quality: review invoices and source documents, follow up on gaps and maintain audit trail.
• Support GHG accounting (Scope 1, 2 and 3) per GHG Protocol and maintain data in ESG platform.
• Assist CSRD disclosures and evidence for limited assurance with clear methodology notes and process descriptions.
• Act as day-to-day contact for site and finance colleagues, explaining data requirements.
