Job summary

BrightStone Group in Amsterdam is seeking three Data Analysts/Data Modelers for a major Dutch bank to design and maintain the central credit data store used by risk models and analytics.

The role covers two projects: an Early Warning Model and Model-Based Calibration. You will analyse requirements, map data elements, ensure data quality and take end-to-end ownership from testing to release in collaboration with data engineers and business consumers.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in business and data analysis.
• Experience with data modelling: conceptual, logical and physical.
• Experience with data testing: unit, regression and acceptance testing.
• General understanding of IT topics such as release management; tools like Databricks.
• Strong stakeholder management and clear communication with a variety of stakeholders.
• Analytical mindset and attention to detail: translating requirements into solutions.
• Experience working under high pressure and tight deadlines.
• Excellent command of English.

Responsibilities

• Gathering, analysing and validating credit data requirements with consumers.
• Assessing data attributes and identifying data gaps.
• Maintaining the credit business data model: mapping data elements and data flows.
• Adjusting mappings and creating build plans; perform corrective maintenance on data products.
• Taking end-to-end ownership of data products, including testing and release management, with data engineers and consumers.
• Contributing to bank-wide change initiatives where credit data is key.
• Developing the team and platform with new tooling for data modelling.
