Job summary

Monks is seeking a Creative Talent Discovery Manager to recruit and retain full-time creative staff for our North America team. You will leverage a deep network to hire across Art Directors, Copywriters, Motion Designers, and more, driving long-term growth.

This is a full-time contract through 2026 with potential extension, and includes relationships with Finance and HR for budget tracking. You will manage offers, onboarding, and supplier relationships while maintaining an active candidate

Qualifications

• 7+ years in creative recruiting, resourcing, or talent producer roles within an ad agency, production company, or in-house brand team.
• Deep network of high-caliber talent across creative, design, editorial, and production disciplines.
• Strong salary negotiation skills and experience managing headcount budgets.

Responsibilities

• Continuously recruit, interview, and pipeline full-time creative and production talent across disciplines.
• Source niche talent ahead of headcount needs, e.g., animators, 3D artists, AI creative specialists.
• Partner with Casting, Creative Directors, Producers, and Operations to understand project briefs, budgets, and skill requirements.
• Oversee offer management, compensation packages, and onboarding paperwork for full-time hires.
• Build and maintain an active internal candidate database with salaries, portfolios, and performance notes.
