Job summary

DEPT is seeking a Social Video Creator/Editor to turn raw footage into compelling social videos for TikTok, Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts. You will identify strong moments, craft hooks, and edit the final cut for multiple clients, with room to shape formats and pitches.

You may also engage with the community and occasionally appear on camera. Strong editing in Premiere Pro, a portfolio of social videos, and a good feel for TikTok/Shorts are essential.

Qualifications

• Portfolio of social videos you’ve conceived and edited yourself.
• Strong hands-on editing skills in Premiere Pro or similar professional tool.
• Knowledge of TikTok, Instagram, YouTube Shorts and their communities.
• Ability to write sharp on-screen text, captions and community replies in German and English.

Responsibilities

• Turn raw footage into finished social videos and carousels.
• Edit videos for TikTok, Reels and Shorts with pacing, captions, sound and visuals.
• Create social-first carousels and collaborate with designers/motion specialists.
