Job summary

Jobgether is seeking an experienced Counsel, Offboarding & Litigation based in the Netherlands to lead complex employment exits and disputes across EMEA. You will guide pre-litigation and litigation, ensuring compliance with local labor laws and regulatory requirements while minimizing risk for clients and internal teams.

You will partner with HR, product, and operations to translate legal requirements into scalable processes and collaborate with external counsel on strategy, scope, and fees.

Qualifications

• Law degree and active Bar admission in an EMEA jurisdiction.
• 6–10 years of post-qualification employment law experience in EMEA.
• Proven track record in employment litigation and hearings.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end offboarding, pre-litigation and litigation across EMEA.
• Manage disciplinary processes, statutory filings and disputes.
• Draft termination notices, separation agreements and evidence submissions.
• Instruct external counsel, define scopes, negotiate fees and timelines.
• Collaborate with HR, product and commercial teams on compliant workflows.
• Provide practical legal guidance balancing compliance and business needs.
