Job summary

Turner & Townsend is expanding its Cost Management division in the Netherlands and seeks a qualified Cost Manager / Quantity Surveyor to join the team in Amsterdam. The role offers exposure to high-profile projects, hybrid work options, and opportunities for rapid career progression.

Joining the team means working within a professional, international environment, delivering pre- and post-contract QS duties, cost estimates, tendering, and cost planning.

Qualifications

• A recognized Degree Qualification.
• Relevant work experience as a QS or Cost Manager ideally in a consultancy environment.
• Highly motivated and driven with a passion for delivering to your clients and have the ability to work independently.
• Excellent command of written and spoken English and preferably Dutch with excellent report and bid writing skills.
• Candidates with the right to work in the Netherlands/ Europe are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate and develop good relationships with clients and stakeholders internally and externally.
• Responsible for pre- and post-contract quantity surveying duties including preparation of cost estimates, procurement and tendering, contract administration, variation, final account, etc.
• Estimating and cost planning to include producing and presenting the final cost plan.
• Tendering and procuring, including managing the pre-qualification stage, producing the tender list, putting the preliminaries together, tender analysis, producing the tender report and compiling the contractual documents
