Job summary

TMC in the Netherlands is seeking a Cost Expert to join multidisciplinary project teams delivering critical infrastructure.

You will develop cost models, prepare estimates and business cases, assess budgets, and support tenders and changes. You will analyze risks and probabilistic costs, and collaborate with cost advisors, analysts, and project teams to improve cost management and knowledge.

• Preparing and developing estimates, cost models, and business cases.
• Advising on project issues, tenders, changes, and cost management.
• Evaluating and assessing budgets and cost products from external parties.
• Setting up, executing, evaluating, and optimizing cost processes within projects.
• Analyzing risks and probabilistic cost results. Collaborating with cost advisors, specialists, analysts, and project teams.
• Participating in various consultation structures to monitor and guide developments within projects.
• Contributing to knowledge development and further professionalization of the field.

As a Cost Expert, you are part of multidisciplinary project teams working on challenging infrastructure projects. You are responsible for developing, assessing, and improving cost products and make a significant contribution to project decisions. Your tasks include, among others:
