Job summary

Bayards Aluminium Solutions in Nieuw-Lekkerland is seeking a Calculator | Cost Engineer to translate technical designs into cost estimates and quotations for complex aluminium structures.

You will work with Engineering, Sales, Procurement and Production, analyze drawings, determine costs, assess risks, and contribute to competitive proposals, with room for initiative and professional growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree HBO or equivalent in a technical discipline.
• Experience in a project-based technical environment is welcome.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills.
• Good communication in Dutch and English.

Responsibilities

• Prepare cost estimates and quotations for complex aluminium structures and project-based solutions.
• Analyze technical drawings, specifications, and customer enquiries.
• Determine material, production, and procurement costs.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Procurement, Production, and Sales.
• Identify technical and commercial risks and opportunities.
• Support and substantiate cost estimates while ensuring proposal quality and drive process improvements.
