Job summary

Genesys is seeking a highly motivated Corporate Counsel to join its Legal team in the Amsterdam Area. The role provides commercial legal support to the Sales and Channel organisations across EMEA, focusing on SaaS agreements and risk mitigation in a fast-paced tech environment.

The successful candidate will draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements, collaborate with privacy, security, and product counsel, and support responses to tenders.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed to practice law in the Netherlands or an EU jurisdiction with 2–3 years PQE in TMT law, focusing on SaaS agreements.
• Strong contract drafting, negotiation, and stakeholder communication skills.
• Substantive knowledge of intellectual property law as it applies to cloud services.
• Fluent Dutch language skills.
• Desirable: knowledge of competition law, AI regulatory issues (EU AI Act), financial services regulations (DORA, EBA, PRA), experience negotiating SaaS with financial institutions/public sector, familiarity with EU Data Act, and cross-region negotiation experience (Nordics/MMEA) including Italian, French, Spanish or German.

• Draft, review, and negotiate various commercial agreements (cloud services, SaaS, channel partner, software license, professional services).
• Offer practical legal advice and collaborate with data privacy, security, and product counsel teams.
