Genesys is seeking a highly motivated Corporate Counsel to join its Legal team in the Amsterdam Area. The role provides commercial legal support to the Sales and Channel organisations across EMEA, focusing on SaaS agreements and risk mitigation in a fast-paced tech environment.
The successful candidate will draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements, collaborate with privacy, security, and product counsel, and support responses to tenders.
Law degree from an accredited Netherlands or EU law school; Licensed to practice law in the Netherlands or an EU jurisdiction with experience in Dutch law; 2-3 years PQE in TMT law at a reputable firm or equivalent in-house experience, particularly with SaaS agreements; Strong skills in contract drafting, negotiation, and stakeholder communication; Substantive knowledge of intellectual property law as it applies to cloud services; Fluent Dutch language skills. Desirable: Knowledge of competition law, understanding of AI regulatory issues (EU AI Act), familiarity with financial services regulations (DORA, EBA, PRA), experience negotiating SaaS with financial institutions/public sector, working knowledge of EU Data Act, experience negotiating in Nordics/Middle East, ability to communicate/negotiate in Italian, French, Spanish, or German.

Additional desirable skills include knowledge of competition law, understanding of AI regulatory issues (EU AI Act), and familiarity with financial services regulations.
