Job summary

Impactsearch - Finance Recruitment is seeking a Controller for the Lelystad site to actively engage with the business and drive improvements while owning the P&L and local accounting processes.

You will partner with management to forecast, budget, and implement improvements, with a hands-on approach and strong Excel/ERP skills. Logistics/3PL experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• HBO or university-level education in Finance, Business Economics, Accounting or a related field.
• 2 to 4 years of relevant experience in controlling.
• Experience with P&L responsibility, budgeting and forecasting.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to act as a sparring partner for management.
• Analytical, hands-on and focused on identifying improvements.
• Experience with ERP systems and strong Excel skills.
• Experience within logistics or a 3PL environment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Advising management and operational leadership on financial and controlling topics.
• Managing the full P&L and overseeing the local accounting processes.
• Leading the month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Preparing sales invoices and coordinating with site managers and customers.
• Developing and maintaining internal control measures.
• Leading the budgeting process and weekly and monthly forecasting, including initiating corrective actions where required.
• Identifying key cost drivers and initiating improvement actions.

For the location in Lelystad, we are currently looking for a Controller who is not only responsible for the numbers, but also actively engages with the business and contributes to improvements. In this role, you will have a direct impact on the financial and operational performance of the site and act as an important financial sparring partner for management.
