Job summary

Priva is seeking a Control Engineer to help build the system and device controls that the world can rely on. You will work on building automation solutions for HVAC and building services across Europe, applying the latest technology in a small experienced team.

You will join a team of seasoned control engineers and an architect, with onboarding before joining the Top Control Customer Satisfaction team to support BlueID-line requirements and field work. Proactive collaboration is key.

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of Building Automation and Control Systems.
  • Knowledge of technical installations in buildings for HVAC and other services.
  • Technical MBO 4 to HBO (higher professional education) work and thinking level.
  • Experience working in agile teams.
  • Fluent English speaking and reading.
  • Dutch is a plus.

Why this role and you matter

Our controls application is the secret sauce in our current building automation solutions, helping us to deliver systems that are the experts’ choice around the world. Applying the latest technology and approaches to design, develop, maintain and test building automation and control system behaviour and solutions will be a core part of your daily work.


Your success will be heavily dependent on your ability to learn and apply your existing knowledge to some of the most critical and complex infrastructure for HVAC and other building services anywhere in Europe. You will play a vital role in taking our building management controls to the next level.


Your team

You will join a small team of highly experienced group of control engineers and an architect. With decades of knowledge and experience in the building automation domain, you will get all the support you need to quickly find your feet.


After an extensive onboarding period lasting a couple of months, you will then transition to the Top Control Customer Satisfaction team where you can then start supporting the various BlueID-line control application requirements and support coming in from the field. This team is the heart of our existing product line and crucial for maintaining business operations for Priva.

What you bring

In an ideal world, we arelooking for someone with Top Control experience (project engineering) within the building automation sector in the Netherlands. This could also be someone with an MBO education level who has reached an HBO working and thinking level through practical experience and courses. Perhaps you have already had significant project experience and are looking to leave the travelling time and the standard solutions typically found in installation engineering projects behind you.


More specifically


  • Knowledge of Building Automation and Control Systems;

  • Knowledge of technical installations in buildings for HVAC and other services;

  • Technical MBO 4 to HBO (higher professional education) work and thinking level;

  • Experience working in agile teams;

  • Fluent English speaking and reading;

  • Dutch is a plus.
