Job summary

The Kingfish Company is seeking a Freelance Electrical Technician to support our Zeeland facility during a major site expansion. You will perform corrective and preventive electrical maintenance across existing and new installations, troubleshoot faults, and contribute to optimization efforts.

Fluent English is required; Dutch is an advantage. A ZZP or equivalent freelance contractor status is expected for a ~6 month engagement with a competitive rate based on experience.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Electrical Technician in an industrial environment.
• Strong knowledge of electrical installations, motors, drives, and control systems.
• Experience working with PLC-controlled processes.
• Good troubleshooting and fault-finding skills.
• VCA certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performing corrective and preventive electrical maintenance
• Catching up on outstanding electrical work and modifications
• Troubleshooting and resolving electrical faults
• Working with PLC-controlled systems, including analog and digital I/O
• Maintaining and commissioning frequency drives and electric motors
• Supporting improvement and optimization projects
• Assisting with electrical installations related to expansion projects
• Performing ad hoc engineering and modification work where required
• Ensuring all work is carried out in accordance with health, safety, and environmental standards
• Maintaining accurate documentation of completed work
