Job summary

Evos Terneuzen invites a highly motivated engineer to drive operational excellence at a zero-emission terminal. You will work with operations, technical specialists, and engineers to improve availability, safety, and process performance.

Requirements include a Master’s degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering, experience in terminal storage and petrochemical operations, and strong project management and communication skills. Proficiency in English and Dutch is essential.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
• Experience in Terminal Storage and (Petro)Chemical Operations.
• Experience with project management and process improvement.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Proactive mindset with ownership and initiative.
• Fluent in English and Dutch.

Responsibilities

• Monitor terminal performance and ensure high availability of installations.
• Collaborate with operations, technical specialists, and engineers to optimize processes.
• Lead improvements, debottlenecking, and risk-based decision making.
• Support commissioning of new equipment or control modifications.
• Maintain productive communication with maintenance, engineering, HSSEQ, and other service departments.
• Execute short-term safety and operational actions from HAZOPs, audits, and incidents.
