Job summary

Crystalloids Rotterdam is seeking an intern to film, edit and post engaging video content for our LinkedIn channel. You’ll interview colleagues, recap events and explain complex topics in plain language while learning AI-assisted tooling.

You’ll work closely with developers and our Marketing Manager, turning ideas into shareable carousels, clips and captions, and you’ll publish from day one on a real company channel, building your portfolio.

Qualifications

• You have filmed and edited video before.
• You know what works on social media.
• You're comfortable making a LinkedIn carousel or graphic in Canva or a similar tool.
• You're curious about technology and AI.
• You write well in English. Dutch is a plus.
• You like taking ownership of your work and enjoy working with developers.

Responsibilities

• Film and edit short videos for LinkedIn: colleague interviews, behind the scenes at the office, event recaps and short explainers.
• Create LinkedIn content (carousels, graphics, captions) for the company page and for colleagues who post themselves.
• Pitch your own ideas, try new formats, and check what works and what doesn't.
• Use AI tools in your own work, for editing, ideas, visuals or anything else that saves time, and share what you learn with the team.
• Help with events, from preparing a meetup or webinar to filming it and posting about it afterwards.
• Pick up smaller marketing tasks as they come up, like a blog image, a newsletter item or a website update.

Job description

Our engineers build data platforms, integrations and custom software for retailers, travel companies and media brands. Most of that work is hard to see from the outside. We're looking for an intern who can make it visible: someone who can film a developer explaining something in two minutes, turn it into a clip people actually watch, and post it on LinkedIn.

This is a content role, not a UX or UI design role: you'll spend most of your time filming, editing and posting, not designing interfaces.

We've been building data solutions on Google Cloud since 2006. Our team of software and data specialists works with organisations that want more from their data. AI is part of our daily work: we use AI-assisted development to build custom tools that replace off-the-shelf software, for our clients and for ourselves, and our marketing team uses AI every day too. We're a Premier Google Cloud Partner, and our team in Rotterdam is international and informal.

What you'll do

• You're curious about technology and AI. You don't need to know what BigQuery is, but you should want to find out.
• You write well in English. Dutch is a plus.
• You like taking ownership of your work and enjoy working with developers.

Practical

• The internship must be a mandatory part of your study programme.

• Live in the EU/EEA or Switzerland.
• Hold a valid residence permit that allows you to work in the Netherlands.
• Take part in the Erasmus programme.
• Hold a Dutch study visa with a signed internship agreement between your educational institution, Crystalloids and yourself.
