Forcyd, based in Amsterdam, is launching a Starters Academy for early-career professionals in digital forensics and data-driven investigations. You will learn to uncover facts behind complex cases using advanced forensic technologies and data analytics.
Participants will collect digital evidence, work on incidents such as ransomware and data breaches, and support investigations for fraud, corruption, or regulatory matters.
Are you curious about technology, investigations and digital evidence, but still at the start of your career? Join our Starters Academy and learn how to uncover the facts behind complex cases, analyse large volumes of data and use innovative technology to solve challenges that matter.
You'll work at the intersection of technology, investigations, and legal matters. Using advanced forensic technologies, data analytics, and investigative techniques, you'll help organizations uncover facts, respond to incidents, and solve complex challenges.
One day, you may be investigating a large-scale cyber incident. When an organization is affected by ransomware or a data breach, you'll help determine how access was gained, what information may have been compromised, and what evidence is needed to understand the full scope of the incident.
The next day, you may be supporting a high-profile fraud, corruption, cartel, or regulatory investigation. In these matters, you'll analyse digital evidence to help organizations, lawyers, and regulators understand what happened. Sometimes, the key to an entire case is hidden in a single email, document, or communication.
Your work starts with collecting and preserving digital evidence. You'll secure and forensically acquire data from laptops, smartphones, servers, cloud environments, and other digital sources. Using advanced forensic and Legal Tech solutions, you'll process and analyse large datasets containing millions of files, emails, and communications.
As you develop your expertise, you'll learn how to:
Alongside client projects, you'll contribute to internal innovation initiatives and technology development projects. It's a role for people who enjoy technology, investigations, data analysis, and problem-solving, and who want to become experts in digital forensics and data-driven investigations.
Your journey starts with an intensive four-week bootcamp designed to prepare you for the role. Through hands-on training, real-life case studies, and practical exercises, you'll build a strong foundation in digital forensics, investigations, Legal Tech, and forensic data analysis.
After the bootcamp, you'll continue to grow through our two-year development programme for early-career professionals. Together with your training group, you'll participate in coaching sessions, peer learning, and workshops focused on both technical expertise and professional skills.
By combining learning with real client work from day one, you'll rapidly develop into a trusted consultant who can navigate complex investigations, analyse digital evidence, and help clients solve critical business, legal, and incident-related challenges.
