Overview
We are looking for a hands-on Project Manager to oversee construction and fit-out projects from start to finish. This role requires someone who can think fast, see the bigger picture, and quickly understand the interdependencies between tasks, suppliers, and project phases. You’ll use Smartsheet or a similar project management tool to plan, track, and report progress—making sure everyone involved is aligned and projects run smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and Track Projects
- Build and manage detailed project schedules (dependencies, timelines, milestones).
- Anticipate risks, identify bottlenecks early, and propose solutions.
- Keep budgets and timelines on track.
- Coordinate Teams & Partners
- Act as the central link between contractors, architects, suppliers, and internal teams.
- Ensure information flows clearly and quickly to the right people.
- Follow up on open points and drive accountability.
- Deliver Quality Results
- Ensure projects meet agreed quality standards and safety requirements.
- Manage site handovers and close-out with minimal issues.
- Track lessons learned for continuous improvement.
What We’re Looking For
- 3-4 years of Project Management experience in international retail construction.
- Solid experience in managing construction, refurbishment, or fit-out projects.
- Strong experience with Smartsheet or similar project management tools (e.g. MS Project, Asana, Monday.com).
- A fast thinker who can connect the dots and understand project interdependencies.
- Highly organized, structured, and proactive.
- Strong communicator who can keep many moving parts aligned.
- Comfortable making decisions and solving problems under pressure.
- Formal degree not required—proven experience and results matter most.
- You don’t mind swapping the office for a train or plane every now and then (around 20% travel).
