Job summary

Russell Tobin in Rotterdam is seeking an experienced insurance professional to lead complex placements for Construction All Risks (CAR), engineering and infrastructure risks. You will advise corporate clients, negotiate with insurers and manage the full insurance lifecycle across national and international markets.

The role requires strong client relationship skills, a deep understanding of CAR and engineering risks, and fluency in Dutch and English.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years experience in insurance broking, corporate insurance or advisory roles.
• Strong knowledge of CAR, Engineering insurance and complex commercial risks.
• Experience managing corporate client portfolios and negotiating with insurers.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex insurance placements for construction, engineering and infrastructure risks including CAR.
• Develop and manage client relationships, acting as trusted advisor to corporate clients and stakeholders.
• Negotiate with insurers to secure tailored coverage and favorable terms.
• Own the insurance lifecycle from renewals to endorsements and claims support.
• Develop renewal strategies and prepare market submissions and risk assessments.
• Drive growth by identifying new opportunities and strengthening portfolios.
• Collaborate with internal specialists to deliver comprehensive risk management solutions.
