The role includes managing social media and the website and supporting corporate, marketing, and recruitment communications globally.

You will work with senior leaders to craft external messaging, drive channel performance, and maintain strong, collaborative relationships across regions.

Flow Traders is looking for a driven Communications Specialist to join our Communications team in our Amsterdam office. In this role, you will support the development of our external communication activities, with a focus on our digital channels, and developing compelling content while ensuring our communications are consistent, on-brand, and strategically aligned across all channels. This includes management of our social media platforms and website and supporting corporate, marketing, and recruitment communications on a global scale.

What you will do

• Manage external communications channels, including the company website and social media platforms
• Develop and execute a content strategy that spans social media, thought leadership, web content, media materials, presentations, and corporate updates
• Support the development of external messaging by working closely with senior leaders and subject matter experts across regions
• Drive channel management and optimization, tracking performance and continuously improving how we communicate externally
• Ensure consistency and quality across all external communications, maintaining a strong and coherent brand voice
• Manage multiple projects and deadlines, balancing priorities across a global stakeholder base
• Build and maintain strong relationships across functions, regions, and seniority levels, acting as a reliable communications partner to the business
• Apply your creativity to deliver engaging, high-quality content that resonates with our target audiences

What you need to succeed

• University degree
• 3+ years experience in communications, content, social media, or a related role. Experience in the financial industry is a strong plus.
• Excellent English communication skills
• Proven experience managing external communications channels, including websites and social media platforms
• Strong content creations skills with the ability to craft clear, compelling content across a range of formats and audiences
• Solid understanding of social media strategy, content planning, channel management, and performance measurement
• Strong project management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities, stakeholders, and deadlines simultaneously
• Experience collaborating with senior leaders and subject matter experts to shape and refine external messaging
• Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build relationships across functions, regions, and levels of the organization
• A proactive, solution-oriented mindset with a keen eye for detail
