Job summary

Nebius is seeking a seasoned Communications Designer to join the Design team in Amsterdam. You will shape internal communications and the employer brand, crafting visuals across presentations, social content, events, and digital materials.

Bring 5+ years of tech-focused design experience, a strong portfolio, and a keen eye for typography, grids, and production. You will own templates, AI-driven workflows, and a scalable brand language with cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in communication design or related fields within tech companies.
• Strong, varied portfolio across campaigns, events, digital and print.
• Strong Visual design skills: typography, composition, grids, hierarchy.
• Experience designing for physical formats and events from concept to production.
• Systems thinking to build a scalable visual language within brand guidelines.
• Proficiency with AI tools and ability to critically assess results.
• Initiative and excellent communication to develop ideas and handle feedback.
• Storytelling ability to craft narratives across text, visuals and formats.

We’re looking for a creative Communications Designer — People Communications to join our Design team and work with Internal Communications and Employer Branding. We need someone with a point of view who proactively brings ideas, draws inspiration from the best practices of technology companies, and helps us build a distinctive and compelling employer brand.

The role

Your responsibilities will include:

• Create visual materials for internal communications and employer branding: presentations, content for social media, our website, internal campaigns, and other digital formats.
• Develop visual concepts and cohesive design for corporate and recruiting events — from concept to delivery, including spatial design, print, and digital materials.
• Design employee merch and gifts, bringing original ideas and attention to design, quality, and production.
• Come up with creative concepts and produce visual content, including photography and video.
• Build templates and toolkits that enable other teams to independently produce on-brand materials.
• Design and implement AI-assisted workflows to automate recurring design tasks and create materials within the brand system.
• Shape and maintain a consistent visual language for our employer brand across internal and external communications, staying connected to Nebius’s brand identity and finding new ways to evolve it.
• Proactively contribute ideas and creative solutions in collaboration with Internal Communications and Employer Branding.

We expect you to have:

• 5+ years of experience in communication design, internal communications, employer branding, or related fields within technology / IT companies.
• A strong and varied portfolio: campaigns, events, digital, print, merch, presentations, and social media. We want to see both quality of execution and originality of ideas.
• Strong visual design skills: typography, composition, grids, visual hierarchy, and the ability to make information engaging and easy to understand.
• Experience designing for physical formats and events: an understanding of print technologies, materials, and production processes, with the ability to take designs through to production.
• Systems thinking: the ability to build a consistent visual language and scalable design solutions, working within brand guidelines and evolving them.
• Proficiency with AI tools: up-to-date knowledge of their capabilities and the ability to critically assess results from a professional designer’s perspective.
• Initiative and communication skills: the ability to propose and develop ideas, explain design decisions, work with feedback, and see projects through to completion.
• Broader storytelling skills are a plus: the ability to build a narrative, articulate a central message, and develop it through text, visuals, and other formats.
