VONK is seeking a Commissioning Engineer to test, commission, and bring electrical installations into operation. Depending on your knowledge and experience, you may start as a junior engineer or lead complex projects independently.
The role is on-site in Staphorst, with opportunities to work on national and international assignments and collaborate with a skilled team to drive technical development across power electronics and control systems.
As a Commissioning Engineer, you will be responsible for testing, commissioning, and putting electrical installations into operation. Depending on your knowledge and experience, you will either start as an engineer looking to further develop your expertise or as an experienced specialist capable of independently managing complex commissioning projects.
For junior engineers, the initial focus is on becoming familiar with our technology through testing and verification activities at our facility in Staphorst. From this foundation, you will gradually progress towards commissioning activities on site. If you already have extensive experience in commissioning or start-up activities, you will be given direct responsibility for independently executing complex technical projects.
As a Commissioning Engineer at VONK, you will frequently work on site in short cycles, both nationally and internationally. You will be part of a skilled and engaged team where knowledge sharing, technical development, and collaboration are central.
In this role, you may also be involved in projects within the field of power electronics, such as testing and commissioning electrical converters and power conversion systems. This provides excellent opportunities for technical development and collaboration with colleagues from other engineering disciplines.
We are looking for both ambitious junior engineers and experienced professionals who recognise themselves in the profile below:
