Job summary

Demcon production is seeking a driven commercial project manager to impact our healthcare-focused solutions. You will bridge customers with internal teams, guide projects from development to serial production, and ensure alignment on scope, planning and budget.

You will maintain client relationships, translate business opportunities into project approaches, and contribute to business development and planning for proposals. Strong communication in Dutch and English is required.

Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor’s degree (HBO level) in a relevant field such as industrial engineering & management, mechanical engineering or electrical engineering.
• Experience in a similar technical or manufacturing role is preferred.
• Strong ability to structure projects and drive them towards results in a focused and efficient manner.
• Ownership mindset with ability to provide direction in challenging situations.
• Excellent communication with customers, project teams and stakeholders is essential.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the key link between the customer and the in‑house project team.
• Develop production processes and a supply chain for series production of new products.
• Manage scope, planning, budget, risks and quotes from quotation to final realization.
• Monitor progress, schedule and budget and address bottlenecks proactively.
• Foster long-term relationships and identify opportunities for follow-up projects and collaborations.

As a project manager, you are responsible for the successful delivery of projects while further strengthening customer relationships. You understand your customers' needs, think along with them on their challenges, and proactively identify opportunities for follow-up projects and expanded collaboration.

Demcon production is a partner in pre-production and series production of complex systems and innovative products.

What are you going to do?

As a commercial project manager, you are the essential link between the customer and the in-house project team. Together with the team, you work on developing production processes and a supply chain for the series production of new products. You manage the content, organisational and qualitative aspects of the projects, from the quotation, including starting points, concept formation, risks, hourly budget and planning, to the final realisation. In doing so, you monitor technical progress, planning and budget and are proactive in addressing any bottlenecks. You ensure excellent communication with the client, the project team and within Demcon. You also enjoy being involved in business development activities and preparing project plans that include scope, planning, and cost estimates for proposals and quotations. Clear communication is at the core of your work: you ensure alignment with customers, project teams, and internal stakeholders within Demcon, while building long-term, sustainable relationships.

What do you bring to the table?

• A bachelor's degree (HBO level), for example in industrial engineering & management, mechanical engineering or electrical engineering;
• Experience in a similar role within a technical or manufacturing environment;
• Ability to bring structure to projects and steer them towards results in a focused and efficient manner;
• You take ownership, maintain oversight, and are confident in providing direction, even in challenging situations;
• You are skilled at connecting people and teams, enjoy collaboration, and can align different interests and perspectives;
• You have a strong commercial mindset and know how to translate business opportunities into a successful project approach;
• Excellent communication skills and proficiency in both Dutch and English.
