Job summary

Catawiki, Amsterdam-based marketplace, seeks a Commercial Intern to support Catawiki Live growth. You’ll help build seller leads, onboard sellers, and provide analytics to drive revenue growth.

In this hybrid role, you’ll collaborate with Business Development and experts across Europe, learn the commercial function of a marketplace, and contribute to onboarding strategies and educational content for the Seller Academy.

Qualifications

• Must be a Bachelor/HBO or Master student in Business or related studies.
• Enrolled at a Dutch educational institution for the full duration of the internship.
• Prior working experience (internship or otherwise) is a plus.
• Strong commercial mindset and communication skills are essential.
• Passion for online industry and ability to understand sellers’ language.
• Familiar with G Suite tools (Google Sheets, Google Slides).
• Fluent in English and in Italian or another European language.

Responsibilities

• Identify, qualify and develop leads through online monitoring, calls, email and collaboration with sales reps and experts.
• Identify and activate high-potential leads for Catawiki Live.
• Onboard new sellers onto Catawiki Live, educating them on how to sell effectively.
• Facilitate a frictionless pre- and post-Live experience for new sellers.
• Learn the important characteristics of categories with experts.
• Align with internal stakeholders to develop growth plans for onboarded sellers.
• Create educational content for the Catawiki Live Seller Academy on selling and maximizing Live auction sales.
