Job summary

Lamb Weston Holdings, Inc. in Breda (EMEA) seeks a Commercial Controller to act as a financial business partner across several key regions, driving performance and value creation.

You will provide independent insights and support decision-making through robust analysis, planning, forecasting and performance management. You will work closely with regional leaders to support sustainable growth, operational excellence and effective execution of strategic priorities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Controlling, or related field.
• Experience in business controlling and FP&A.
• Ability to translate financial insights into actionable recommendations.
• Experience in complex, international organizations with multiple stakeholders.

• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting processes.

Responsibilities

• Develop relationships with stakeholders across functions and countries to promote planning and financial awareness.
• Support risk management, governance and compliance processes where relevant.

As Commercial Controller, you will be the financial business partner covering several key regions in the EMEA (Europe, Middle East & Africa) commercial organization and drive the finance performance and value creation for your region.

Your impact

You act as a trusted business partner to senior leadership and management teams for your regions, supporting the achievement of operational and strategic objectives. You provide independent insights into business performance and help drive decision-making through robust financial analysis, planning, forecasting and performance management. You work closely with stakeholders across the region and the wider organization to support sustainable growth, operational excellence and effective execution of strategic priorities.

What you will do

• Analyze and monitor business performance against plans, budgets, forecasts and strategic objectives, providing insights and recommendations to support decision-making.
• Partner with senior leaders and management teams on strategy development, execution and performance tracking.
• Deliver financial and operational analyses that identify opportunities for improvement and support business growth across the region.
• Coordinate business planning and control activities, including strategic planning, budgeting, forecasting and performance reviews.
• Prepare and present management reports, ensuring accuracy, consistency and timely delivery of information.
• Lead and support budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Challenge and validate financial forecasts and business assumptions to improve forecast accuracy and business outcomes.
• Conduct variance analyses against budgets, forecasts, and targets, recommending corrective actions where required.
• Develop strong relationships with stakeholders across functions and countries to promote effective planning, performance management and financial awareness.
• Support risk management, governance, and compliance processes where relevant.
• Act as a co-pilot to the business by driving performance, accountability and value creation

What you bring

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Controlling, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
• Experience in business controlling, financial planning & analysis, finance business partnering
• Strong business acumen with the ability to translate financial insights into actionable business recommendations.
• Experience working in complex, international organizations with multiple stakeholders and markets.
• Proven ability to influence decision-making and build effective partnerships across different levels of the organization.
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, performance management and management reporting processes.
• Experience leading projects, initiatives or cross-functional teams in an international environment.
• Excellent analytical skills and data triangulation capabilities.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Well-organized, proactive and able to work effectively in a dynamic and changing environment.
• Experience with ERP systems and reporting tools is an advantage.
• Fluent in English; Dutch or other European languages beneficial.
