Job summary

TNO in Delft seeks a Commercial Contract Manager to oversee contract management across project prep and execution, focusing on commercial risks, agreements and practical execution. You will support business developers and project teams in drafting proposals, negotiating contracts, and handling complex, high-risk projects with international clients including ESA.

Strong English proficiency is essential, and experience with IP/state aid is a plus.

Qualifications

Master's degree level and strategic thinking capability.
Extensive experience in commercial contract management.
Experience with international contracting is required.
Affinity with IP law and/or state aid/subsidy regulations is an advantage.
Experience analyzing contracts and understanding non-compliance implications.
Leading or participating in negotiations and ensuring proper contract closure.
Ensuring consistency between customer and subcontractor agreements.
Advising on commercial risks and coordinating with Legal Counsels.

Responsibilities

Manage contract management during project preparation and execution.
Support business developers and project teams in drafting proposals and negotiating contracts.
Work with national and international clients, including ESA and other space sector partners.
Advise project managers and HTI management on commercial matters and risk.
Ensure alignment between commercial objectives, project realities, and risk controls.
