SIRE LIFE SCIENCES is seeking an experienced Co-Packing Operations Lead to oversee co-packing activities across the Benelux region. You will stabilize daily operations, manage risks, and drive a comprehensive review to optimize processes, capacity, and resource allocation.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure smooth daily co-packing activities across the Benelux region as main operational contact.
  • Collaborate with Logistics, Planning, Customer Service, Marketing, Procurement, Quality, and external partners.
  • Maintain transparency on requests, priorities, owners, deadlines, dependencies and status updates.
  • Organize and lead governance meetings to facilitate communication and issue resolution.
  • Maintain accurate records including instruction cards, specifications, price lists, supplier info, and logs.
  • Coordinate master data, material administration, purchase orders, system updates, and escalation procedures.
  • Conduct a comprehensive inventory of current co-packing activities to determine capacity needs.
  • Identify quick wins and strategic opportunities to improve processes and reduce costs.
  • Document improvements and create a roadmap for ongoing enhancements and handover.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Co-Packing Operations Lead to support and oversee ongoing co-packing activities across the Benelux region. This pivotal role involves stabilizing daily operations, managing risks, and ensuring continuity while conducting a comprehensive review of the co-packing scope to optimize processes, capacity, and resource allocation.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure the smooth execution of daily co-packing activities across the Benelux region, acting as the main operational contact and addressing urgent issues promptly.
  • Collaborate with Logistics, Planning, Customer Service, Marketing, Procurement, Quality teams, and external partners to support operational needs and governance.
  • Maintain transparency on requests, priorities, owners, deadlines, dependencies, and status updates.
  • Organize and lead governance meetings and decision-making forums to facilitate effective communication and issue resolution.
  • Manage accurate administrative records, including instruction cards, specifications, price lists, supplier info, and decision logs.
  • Coordinate master data, material administration, purchase orders, system updates, and escalation procedures, ensuring system transmission and operational priorities are aligned.
  • Conduct a comprehensive inventory of current co-packing activities, measuring effort, frequency, seasonality, and complexities to determine current and future capacity needs.
  • Identify quick wins and strategic opportunities to improve process reliability, reduce costs, and enhance sustainability.
  • Document and implement feasible improvements, creating a roadmap for ongoing enhancements and a smooth handover.
Requirements
  • Strong background in supply chain, logistics, co-packing, or operational project management.
  • Ability to quickly understand complex processes and operational constraints.
  • Excellent analytical skills, including process mapping and capacity assessment.
  • Confident stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Experience with continuous improvement initiatives and organizational assessments.
  • Knowledge of SAP, co-packing operations, or excise processes is a plus.
  • Skilled in using SAP and Microsoft 365 for purchase orders, master data management, reporting, and documentation.
