Job description

Overview

Intermax is seeking a Cloud Workspace Engineer to design, implement and support digital workplaces for hospital staff. Based in Rotterdam, with the option to work from Eindhoven or from home. You will be part of Team Argon and be responsible for setting up digital workplaces (in the Intermax private cloud or Azure), managing CSP licenses and implementing MFA. The team uses ITSM Topdesk and Jira and follows an Agile mindset with knowledge sharing, openness, and collaboration. You will ensure Jira stories are completed for the next sprint and participate in stand-ups. You may provide input to other teams for quotes or complex changes. A Backup Ops Engineer on duty one day per week handles escalations to keep the rest of the Cloud Engineers at ease. All decisions and execution are documented in Confluence.

Responsibilities

• Resolve incidents and requests; contribute to changes and projects; advise customers based on your expertise; actively participate in the team\'s Agile processes and stand-up meetings; use PowerShell scripting and automation tools (Ansible, Rundeck) for automation.
• Set up and manage digital workplaces (Citrix Cloud, AVD) and manage CSP licenses; implement MFA; configure and manage user accounts and applications using partner software; ensure end-to-end configuration control, including firewall and user settings; leverage automation tooling.
• Participate in customer conversations and project work to provide insights to the team and contribute to the team\'s vision.
• One day per week on Backup Ops Engineer duty to handle escalations for the team and support colleagues and sometimes customers.

Requirements

• HBO-level education and demonstrable experience in managing digital workspace environments and related technologies.
• Knowledge of Citrix Cloud or Azure Virtual Desktop with Intune/Autopilot.
• Experience with automation solutions; PowerShell or Ansible knowledge is a plus.
• Curious, customer-focused with strong communication skills (internal and external); experience with Agile/Scrum.
