Job summary

A technology consultancy in Amsterdam seeks an Infrastructure DevOps Engineer to manage a cloud-based BI platform using SAS 9.4 and SAS Viya. The role involves designing and operating SAS infrastructures, ensuring compliance with banking standards, and working in an Agile team. Ideal candidates should have strong skills in Linux, Kubernetes, automation tools, and scripting languages. This full-time position supports a hybrid working setup, in a mid-senior level role focused on collaboration and technical excellence.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with SAS 9.4 and/or SAS Viya infrastructure.
• Background in Linux system administration.
• Experience with managing Kubernetes platforms.
• Proven experience with automation and infrastructure-as-code.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tooling.
• Scripting skills in Python, Shell, and/or PowerShell.
• Experience with Git or similar version-control systems.
• Understanding of lifecycle management and release processes.
• Ability to work in regulated environments.
• Strong collaboration skills and proficiency in English.

Responsibilities

• Design, automate, and operate SAS-based BI platforms.
• Manage SAS infrastructure, including release management.
• Administer Red Hat Enterprise Linux systems for SAS.
• Operate container platforms like GKE and/or AKS.
• Implement infrastructure-as-code using Terraform and Ansible.
• Set up monitoring and disaster recovery solutions.
• Collaborate with engineers to align solutions with business processes.
• Maintain clear technical documentation.
• Work in an Agile / DevOps environment.
