Job summary

TrueFullstaq is seeking an experienced Cloud Native Engineer to design and implement cloud-native solutions for clients in the Netherlands. You will lead infrastructure as code, containerization, and deployment processes while guiding architects and engineers. The role emphasizes automation, DevOps principles, and mentoring, with a hybrid on-site setup.

Qualifications

• Advanced Kubernetes experience in production environments (CKA/CKAD cert preferred).
• Hands-on with CI/CD and building pipelines from scratch.
• Experience coaching and mentoring junior engineers.
• Fluent in Dutch and English; based in the Netherlands.

We are looking for an experienced, highly skilled, and solution-oriented Cloud Native Engineer to work on complex cloud-native and containerization challenges, infrastructure as code, and high-quality technical implementations for organizations embracing cloud-native technologies.

As a Cloud Native Engineer at TrueFullstaq, you will work on projects and programs for our clients. You will design solutions for complex challenges involving infrastructure as code, containerization, monitoring, and deployment processes. You are confident in making architectural decisions and can clearly communicate and defend them when needed.

In addition to contributing to technical implementations, you will provide valuable input to architects, software engineers, and management teams. You will share best practices and lessons learned to help shape the most effective cloud-native solutions together.

You are someone who dislikes repetitive work and loves automation. And, almost needless to say, you understand and embrace DevOps principles.

Vereisten

• You have a background in software development and/or operations.
• You understand software development best practices and design patterns.
• You have advanced, administrator-level Kubernetes experience in production environments (CKA and/or CKAD certified).
• You have experience with CI/CD, understand the underlying principles, and can build pipelines from scratch.
• You have experience with infrastructure provisioning tools such as Terraform.
• You have hands-on experience with public and/or private cloud providers (AWS, Azure, and/or GCP).
• You understand distributed systems, including containerized microservices and highly scalable web applications.
• You are passionate about the Cloud Native community, attending events and promoting cloud technologies both online and offline.
• You have experience coaching and mentoring junior engineers.
• You are fluent in both Dutch and English.
• You are based in the Netherlands.
