Job summary

Rewire is seeking a Cloud Engineer to build scalable cloud platforms and automate infrastructure across AWS, Azure, and GCP. You’ll work with engineers, AI specialists, and business leaders to deliver production‑ready cloud solutions.

We value hands‑on, growth‑minded professionals with strong coding skills, Git proficiency, and excellent English communication. Dutch is a plus, with frequent travel to client sites across Europe.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a quantitative or STEM field (e.g., Computer Science, Software Engineering, Informatics) is required.
• Practical experience through internships or projects, or up to three years of professional experience with cloud tech and delivering production-grade infra.
• Strong development skills; Git proficiency and high-quality, maintainable code.
• Hands-on, growth-minded approach; ownership and willingness to tackle new cloud tech.
• Effective communication and collaborative spirit; ability to work in teams and explain technical concepts clearly.
• Fluency in English; Dutch is a plus; willingness to travel regularly to client sites.

Responsibilities

• Build cloud foundations powering digital transformations across AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Collaborate across disciplines with engineers, AI experts, and business leaders to deliver production-ready platforms.
• Enable AI and event-driven systems at scale with CI/CD, serverless, networking, and security.
• Develop clean infrastructure code using Terraform and Python to automate environments and deployments.
• Translate architecture decisions into business value for stakeholders.
