Job summary

Xebia Data in the Netherlands seeks a Data Architect to design high-level data solutions, compare options, and steer solutions that balance speed, cost, and scalability while keeping future maintenance in focus.

You will document decisions in Architectural Decision Records and partner with teams to shape short-, medium-, and long-term data strategies across GCP, AWS, and Azure in a consultancy setting.

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience in data or architecture
• Ability to present solutions to non-technical stakeholders
• Experience mapping problems to cloud data platforms

Responsibilities

• Create high-level designs and multiple alternatives
• Record decisions in Architectural Decision Records
• Discuss fit based on speed of delivery, costs, scalability, dependencies, and future-proofness
• Guide teams to build clearly designed data solutions
• Contribute to/lead the Xebia Data Architecture proposition
