Job summary

IQVIA is seeking a Clinical Trial Assistant in the Clinical Functional Service Partnership (CFSP) to support real study operations and build foundational expertise alongside CRAs and Project Managers within a global organization. You will contribute to trial documentation, data workflows, and communications across teams.

Based in the Netherlands, regular travel to the Haarlem office (about 2 days a week) is required.

Qualifications

• Science degree preferred.
• Experience in clinical research or clinical trials support preferred.
• Fluent in English and Dutch.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and update Trial Master Files (TMF) and study documentation.
• Support document preparation, filing, tracking, and archiving.
• Review study files for completeness and compliance.
• Coordinate clinical trial supplies and tracking records.
• Assist with CRF tracking, study queries, and data workflows.
• Act as a key contact for project communications and documentation.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to Clinical Trial Assistants, supporting onboarding, training, and knowledge sharing across the team.
• Serve as a subject matter expert for clinical trial processes and may lead CTA study teams and contribute to recruitment activities.
• Support departmental quality and process improvement initiatives.

What You'll Bring

• Regular travel to the Haarlem office is required, typically 2 days a week
• Passion for clinical research and healthcare
• Science degree preferred
• Previous exposure to clinical research or clinical trials support is preferred
• Good written and verbal communication skills including fluent command of English and Dutch language
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Strong organisation skills and attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Effective communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
