Job summary

Are you a highly organized professional with experience in clinical study logistics? Do you want to work in a state-of-the-art R&D environment for a global leader in Medical and Early Life Nutrition? We are looking for a Clinical Studies Supplies Manager for a temporary project in Utrecht.

Position Purpose

As a Clinical Studies Supplies Manager, you are responsible for the end-to-end management and logistics of clinical study supplies and products. You will join multi-disciplinary study teams to ensure everything runs smoothly, from forecasting to final distribution.s.

Key Tasks & Responsibilities Logistics Management:
  • Oversee clinical study supplies within set KPIs (timelines and budget) in accordance with GCP, GMP, GDP, and local regulations.
  • Demand Forecasting: Translate clinical protocol information into product demand forecasts and supply strategies.
  • Production Coordination: Align with production facilities, product development, quality, and food safety departments.
  • Blinding & Randomization: Arrange study-specific product blinding and support randomization/unblinding methods, including setting up electronic systems.
  • Labeling: Prepare country-specific study product labels and arrange (re)labeling in compliance with applicable regulations.
  • Supply Coordination: Order and distribute study-specific supplies (e.g., equipment, printed materials, lab kits) and provide instructions for use.
  • Vendor Management: Select and supervise third-party vendors (e.g., warehouses, electronic system providers).
  • Quality Improvement: Contribute to quality improvements, participate in working groups, and author SOPs.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Life Sciences, Food Technology or a related scientific discipline
  • .Experience: Proven experience in (international) clinical study product management
  • Knowledge: Familiarity with ICH-GCP, GDP, and GMP guidelines.Skills: Excellent communication skills to interact with internal multidisciplinary teams, management, and external suppliers/couriers
  • Attitude: Pragmatic, systematic, efficient, and quality-focused.
  • Languages: Fluent in English (written and verbal). Knowledge of French is a plus.
  • Availability: Ability to work fully on-site in Utrecht and start as soon as possible.
  • Salary: €4500,- to €6200,- gross per month (depending on experience)
  • Contract: secondment contract (detachering) initial project phase.
