Black Semiconductor in Zoetermeer, NL, is seeking a Cleanroom Equipment Technician (f/m/d) for on-site work to maintain and repair cleanroom utilities including HVAC, gas, water and electrical systems. You will perform preventive maintenance, diagnose issues, and ensure safe, compliant operation in a highly controlled environment.

Ideal candidates have vocational training in mechanical/maintenance, hands-on problem-solving, and the ability to work independently.

Qualifications

• Completed vocational training in a mechanical, technical, or maintenance-related field (e.g., Automotive Mechanic, Industrial Mechanic, Mechatronics Technician, or similar).
• Practical experience with mechanical systems and a basic understanding of electrical, pneumatic, gas, or utility systems.
• Hands-on mindset with willingness to learn new technologies and work in a cleanroom environment with strict quality and safety standards.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and take ownership of assigned responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the safe and reliable operation of cleanroom utility systems, including HVAC, supply and exhaust air, gas, water, and electrical infrastructure.
• Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on cleanroom support systems and incoming utility networks.
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues to minimize downtime and maintain operational continuity.
• Coordinate and execute maintenance activities while ensuring compliance with cleanroom standards and safety requirements.
• Take ownership of technical challenges and proactively identify opportunities for system improvements and increased reliability.
