Job summary

Settels Savenije Group of Companies seeks a Cleanliness & Contamination Control Engineer to strengthen our R&D and production teams in Eindhoven. You will define, implement and maintain cleanliness standards across our cleanroom environments and semiconductor assembly processes.

You will develop contamination control strategies, perform RGA measurements, document cleaning procedures, establish gowning protocols, qualify incoming components, and support audits with international OEM clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in chemical engineering, materials science, physics, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years cleanroom/contamination control experience.
• Experience with RGA instrumentation and mass spectra interpretation.
• Knowledge of ISO 14644 cleanroom standards and contamination methods.

Responsibilities

• Develop contamination control strategies for cleanroom operations (particulates, AMC, metals, ESD, residues).
• Perform residual gas analysis to qualify cleanliness of vacuum components and assemblies.
• Define and document cleaning procedures for semiconductor components (solvent, ultrasonic, plasma, vacuum baking).
• Establish gowning protocols and cleanroom training in line with ISO 14644.
• Conduct cleanliness qualification of incoming components (particle measurement, outgassing).
• Collaborate with procurement, production engineering and QA to embed cleanliness in supplier specs.
• Monitor cleanroom parameters and drive corrective actions on excursions.
• Support internal and external audits related to cleanliness and contamination control.
