Job summary

Johnson & Johnson in Leiden is seeking a diligent Cleanroom Cleaner to support the Operations unit by maintaining hygienic, compliant production areas in line with SOPs and GMP, helping ensure product quality and timely operations. We are searching for the best talent for Cleanroom Cleaner to be based in Leiden.

We are looking for an attentive team member to keep our production areas clean, compliant, and safe. As a Cleanroom Cleaner you will directly support the Operations unit and internal teams by following standard procedures and maintaining high standards of hygiene and documentation, helping ensure product quality and timely operations for the division!

This is an entry support individual contributor role that requires working on a shift roster and an A2 level in Dutch or English. You will work closely with colleagues, follow SOPs and GMP, and take ownership of your training and day-to-day responsibilities.

  • Execute routine cleaning and disinfection of production areas according to SOPs and GMP to maintain hygiene and product safety.

  • Follow standardized administrative processes and document day-to-day activities and resources to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and quality of deliverables.

  • Support Operations teams by completing assigned tasks with ownership, clear communication, and timely follow-through to help the team meet its goals.

  • Adhere to standardized work, activity flowcharts, and quality standards to ensure consistent, compliant results.

  • Complete required training on time and develop competency in routine activities under direction to reduce errors and increase reliability.

  • Learn and apply basic process-improvement methods to contribute ideas that enhance safety, quality, reliability, cost, and scheduling.

  • MBO-2 degree or at least 18 months of relevant work experience.

  • Ability to work on a shift roster (flexible scheduling).

  • A2 level in Dutch or English.

  • Basic computer proficiency, including MS Office.

  • Quality-oriented and precise, with attention to detail and commitment to following SOPs/GMP.

  • Flexible, positive approach with professional communication and an understanding of how individual performance supports company and division goals.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is 33,700 to 46.000 on an annual basis and includes 8% holiday allowance.

In addition to base pay, we offer the following benefits*: an annual bonus with set target (% of pay) depending on pay grade / location, where the actual amount is based on the employees’ and companies’ performance of the previous calendar year, or sales commissions.
