Job summary

Seacover - Shipping & Offshore Crewing seeks a capable Chief Engineer for a Dry Cargo Fleet vessel. You will be responsible for the safe operation, maintenance and supervision of propulsion and power systems in line with class and flag requirements.

Requirements include extensive 2-stroke engine experience, familiarity with ammonia refrigeration is preferred, fluent English, multinational crew exposure, valid PP/SB/COC/STCW with minimum 6 months, and USA visa C1-D. Vaccination is expected.

Qualifications

• Must have actual and stable experience in rank with 2-stroke engines (MAN B&W 6S50ME-B9, 6S60MC-C, B&W 5S60MC, Mitsubishi 6UEC52LA).
• Experience with Ammonia refrigeration system is preferable.
• Fluent English and multinational crew experience required.
• Valid PP, SB, COC, and STCW documents minimum 6 months.
• USA Visa C1-D required.
• Fully vaccinated.
• Tankerman certificates: not required.

We are looking for a Chief Engineer to join vessel of Fruit Juice Carrier (Refrigerated Cargo Ship)

Trading Area: EU, USA, South America

Stand-by/Return Bonus approximately ~3 100 USD

Requirements for candidate:

• Candidate must have previous actual and stable experience in rank with 2-STROKES engines (MAN B&W 6S50ME-B9, 6S60MC-C, B&W 5S60MC, Mitsubishi 6UEC52LA) preferable on reefers, tankers, containers
• Experience with Ammonia refrigeration system is preferable
• Fluent English
• Multinational crew experience
• Valid PP, SB, COC, and STCW documents min 6 months
• USA Visa C1-D
• Fully vaccinated
• Tankerman certificates: not required
