This is a Dutch pharmaceutical technology company focused on the development of innovative drug delivery systems. As a Senior R&D Chemist, you will play a key role in developing, validating, and optimizing analytical methods within a high-tech environment. You will work together with a team of 18 colleagues in analytical chemistry and actively contribute to the further growth of the organization.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and qualify/validate analytical methods, including drafting method descriptions, protocols, and reports to ensure reliable analytical results.
  • Conduct analytical research to generate data that supports project progress (HPLC, UPLC, and GC).
  • Deliver scientifically substantiated output in the form of experimental work protocols and reports, including data interpretation. The quality must be suitable for use in pharmaceutical dossiers and/or patents.
  • Act as a Subject Matter Expert in specific techniques.
  • Implement new analytical techniques and equipment, including drafting procedures for calibration, use, cleaning, and maintenance.
  • Propose improvements regarding procedures within the analytical laboratory, including technical, logistical, and EHS aspects.
Profile / Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Analytical Chemistry, Chemical Technology, or similar.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in analytical chemistry (preferably within pharmaceuticals, medical devices, or food industry).
  • Experience with method development and GMP is an advantage.
  • Practical experience with data analysis, reporting, and lab automation (knowledge of Excel VBA is a plus).
  • Strong communication skills and coaching experience.

  • Salary indication: €3,600 – €6,000 gross per month
