University of Groningen invites an experienced chemist to lead the development of chemically driven robotics. You will design reaction networks and model their signalling dynamics, building innervated soft robotic hands with integrated microfluidic channels.

You will supervise students, collaborate across mechanochemistry, materials, and actuator design, and pursue grant opportunities within a top European research group.

Qualificações

• PhD in synthetic and systems chemistry or equivalent.
• Proven track record in designing reaction networks, working with microfluidic setups, and kinetic modelling.
• Proficiency in advanced analytical techniques and project management.
• Motivation to learn about polymer chemistry and robotic design.
• Excellent publication record and international visibility; strong independent thinking and leadership.

Responsabilidades

• Design reaction networks that propagate chemical signals to chemical actuators.
