Job summary

The Social Hub in Amsterdam is seeking a Chef de Partie to lead your own kitchen section with style and speed, from mise-en-place to service. You will cook and plate dishes that meet our standards in taste, temperature, and presentation, while mentoring junior cooks.

You’ll work in a dynamic, multinational hospitality concept with Europe-wide opportunities, strong teamwork, and a culture that values authenticity and growth.

Qualifications

• Experience as Chef de Partie or strong Commis Chef stepping up
• Ability to run own section during busy services
• Love for fresh, seasonal cooking with quality at pace
• Basic digital literacy for kitchen tools (recipes, HACCP logs)
• Calm, organized working style with solid time management
• Positive, supportive attitude in a close kitchen team
• English and Dutch language skills are a plus

Responsibilities

• Run your own kitchen section during prep and service
• Cook and plate dishes to meet taste, temperature and presentation standards
• Prepare daily mise-en-place and keep station clean and organized
• Provide guidance to Commis Chefs and Kitchen Porters during service
• Communicate with team to keep service smooth
• Manage stock in your section, rotate products and reduce waste
• Adhere to food safety routines and hygiene checks
• Contribute to special events, menus and seasonal updates

• You have basic digital literacy for kitchen tools like recipe platforms or HACCP logs
• You bring a calm, organized way of working and solid time management
• You have a positive, supportive attitude and enjoy being part of a close kitchen team
• You speak English and Dutch, any other languages is a plus
