Job summary

AB Midden Nederland in Lopik is seeking a Food Machine Operator to join the cheese production team. This full-time role (36 hours per week) offers an hourly gross wage between €16.92 and €24.26, plus shift allowance and travel costs.

You will operate and optimize production lines, monitor quality and safety, and work closely with maintenance and colleagues to drive improvements. You’ll handle machine settings, parameter checks, and ensure compliance with recipes, HACCP, and safety standards

Qualifications

• Experience as operator in the food industry (dairy or cheese is a plus).
• MBO-3 or MBO-4 diploma in Process Technology, Food Technology, Mechanical Engineering, or similar.
• Good knowledge of automation and process control systems.
• Familiarity with HACCP and food safety standards.
• Able to solve technical/process issues independently.
• Willing to work in shifts and support colleagues on the shop floor.
• English at B1 level: you can understand instructions and communicate at work.

Responsibilities

• Operate and optimize advanced production lines for cheese products.
• Set and adjust machines, monitor process parameters (temperature, speed).
• Ensure recipes are followed exactly and HACCP standards are met.
• Record production and quality data; assist maintenance on problems.
• Collaborate with maintenance and technical teams to improve efficiency.
