Job summary

Levy Professionals in Amersfoort is seeking a Chapter Lead DWH Data Engineering to blend hands-on data engineering with people leadership in a DevOps/Agile setting.

You will guide a multidisciplinary team, shape technical standards, coach developers and promote craftsmanship while collaborating with IT leadership and stakeholders.

What you'll do

As Chapter Lead, you will combine your technical expertise with coaching and people responsibilities.

Technical

• Work hands-on within a multidisciplinary DevOps team.

• Act as a specialist in Data Engineering / Data Warehousing.

• Contribute to technical solutions and help maintain high engineering standards.

• Support and guide developers in improving technical craftsmanship.

• Share knowledge and stay up to date with developments in Data Engineering and related technologies.

• Help shape the technical vision, standards and way of working within the chapter.

Leadership & coaching

• Coach and support chapter members in their personal and professional development.

• Help developers identify opportunities to improve their skills and craftsmanship.

• Support performance, growth and career development.

• Create an environment where people can learn, collaborate and perform at their best.

• Encourage knowledge sharing across the chapter through collaboration, communities and events.

• Work closely with the IT Lead and other Chapter Leads as the Chapter Lead role continues to develop.

People & HR

• Take responsibility for HR-related processes such as recruitment, onboarding and performance cycles.

• Provide clear, constructive feedback to chapter members.

• Build strong relationships with team members and stakeholders.

• Contribute to creating a healthy, inclusive and high-performing culture.
