Job summary

Stayokay Amsterdam Oost is op zoek naar een Catering medewerker om te koken voor onze gasten in het buffet en mee te werken in een gezellige, open keuken. Je werkt samen met collega's en kunt ook zelfstandig opereren wanneer nodig.

Wij bieden vrijheid, variëteit en doorgroeimogelijkheden, een all-in uurloon volgens cao Horeca, en Stayokay’s eigen regeling met kortingspas en jaarlijkse staff party.

Qualifications

• Passie voor koken en creativiteit in kookkunsten.
• Positieve persoonlijkheid; persoonlijkheid staat centraal.
• Geen bezwaar tegen werken in het weekend.
• Open mind en betrokkenheid bij duurzaamheid.

Responsibilities

• Koken voor gasten in het buffetrestaurant.
• Samenwerken met collega’s in de keuken en ook zelfstandig werken.
• Afhandelen van alles wat met de keuken te maken heeft, van controleren van bestellingen tot onderhoud van keukengerei.

Stayokay Amsterdam Oost is an international hostel located in an old trade school, in the middle of the hip Indische buurt just 15 minutes away from the centre of Amsterdam. This is the largest Stayokay location and features a large terrace on Timorplein, a living area and restaurant The 5th.

Do you love cooking and are you full of sparkling ideas for the menu? Then we are looking for you in the position of Catering employee.

You will be...

• cooking for our guests in the buffet restaurant
• working together with your colleagues in the kitchen, but you don't mind working independently either
• dealing with everything related to the kitchen, from checking orders to maintaining utensils

You have...

• a passion for cooking and are creative and show this in your cooking skills
• a positive character, we consider your personality the most important thing, so above all be yourself
• no objection to also working at weekends
